Bullion – Nearly (Celadon vinyl)

Nearly finds Bullion embracing the beauty of imperfection. After years spent helping define the sound of contemporary avant-pop as a cult producer (Avalon Emerson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Westerman, Ben Howard, and Oliver Sim of the XX), Nathan Jenkins emerges from behind the board to deliver his most distilled album yet – a collection of starry-eyed, timeless electronic pop songs about change, desire, responsibility, and creativity as an irresistible force. It’s a celebration of songwriting and craftsmanship from an artist whose distinct vision of pop has always found complexity in restraint.
