Sleep D’s latest offering, ‘Big Sky, Liquid Sun’ is a 4-track sonic odyssey from the sacred to the seismic, inspired by the duo’s deepened connection to the natural world and their surroundings.

The opener Green Thumbs introduces the EP with a sense of divine invocation, expansive strings, and a trance-gated vocal that hide-and-seeks, layered with a resonant bassline and surging breakbeat. Mountain Ash follows with driving techno, its arpeggiated synths and spatial percussion evoking steady ascent. Acheron Cauldron erupts with relentless energy, dominated by a powerful kick and pulsating bassline, heightened by eerie whispers. Closing with Magma Flow, the EP descends into a trance-like state, with cascading synths and lingering vocals.
