Luke Howard – 28 Transcriptions For Solo Piano

 I am delighted to share with you a selection of 28 of my favourite and most requested compositions. Until now, many of these works existed only in my head, or as rough scores lacking in detail. No longer! It has taken the help of my colleagues Nat Bartsch (who carefully checked the pieces for playability) and Nate Thatcher (who made them look beautiful), along with book designers Stuart Geddes and Žiga Testen, to bring these works onto the page and ready for performance.

Music evolves and changes through performing, so what you will find here may not always exactly reflect the recording. I have tried to find a balance between faithfulness to the original and representing the pieces as I perform them today. There is only so much that can be captured in the notes themselves, so I would encourage you to listen to these recordings to help bring the pieces to life.
