Lubricated Goat – Paddock Of Love

In 1988, Lubricated Goat made headlines after performing nude on Andrew Denton’s Blah Blah Blah program on the ABC, their classic “In The Raw” (featured on this album!) that kept the tabloids and breakfast TV shows enthralled for a week or two. It was a Bill Grundy moment and I was happy to witness it at the time. Paddock Of Love was originally released on the Black Eye label that year, and was the ‘Goat’s first real album as a ‘band’, one that featured Guy Maddison (Mudhoney) and future rock star Nick Barker, at that. It’s been out of circulation for 30+ years, and this edition, fully remastered and sounding GREAT, also comes with a huge foldout poster with the cover on one side and lyrics, liner notes (from Stu Spasm) and ephemera on the other side.
