Kaiman Jimenez and Kobra 3000 – The Wild Ones

Following their collaborative release of the single ‘Caribe Yo Soy’ KAiMáN JiMéNeZ and KOBRA 3000 return with the debut EP ‘The Wild Ones.’ These two mischievous picoteros have paid their dues on the sound system circuit and are ready to serve pounds of simmering Caribbean flavour unto hungry ear holes. The Wild Ones instinct to merge prominent new wave sounds and cult carnival rhythms have made the duo synonymous for anthemic dance floor sounds, utilising iconic drum machines, synthesisers and folkloric  Colombian instrumentation.
Imagining a post Champeta world in homage to the Picó sound system pioneers from the Caribbean Coast of Colombia, Kaiman and Kobra envisage a culture more carnivalesque and more of our authentic selves.
