Joeys Coop – Sawdust Memories

Brand new studio album from this Sydney-based supergroup, of sorts, who feature Mark Roxburgh of Decline Of The Reptiles (and, previously, ME 262), Brett Myers of Died Pretty as the main engine drivers. They’ve previously had two albums out on the legendary Citadel imprint. Mixing in a lifetime of influences that brings in the likes of the Velvets, Television, Stones, Big Star, Stooges and various UK post-punk acolytes, Joeys Coop play with a grit and passion in that classic ’80s Sydney post-Birdman vein.
