Daisypicker are a Naarm/Melbourne folk-grunge band formed in 2023, from the solo project of front woman Nadia Phillips. With a sound that blends raw grunge and experimentation, and the emotional depth and softness of folk, they create music that’s gritty, delicate, and fuelled by feeling.

Capturing the band’s distinctive hard-hitting instrumentation and introspective lyricism, and creating a unique space where sensitivity shakes hands with catharsis, the album takes inspiration from the likes of PJ Harvey, Big Thief, Tortoise and Sonic Youth.
Based in Naarm but hailing from regional Victoria, Daisypicker recorded ‘Mess Around’ at the all analogue studio Sound Recordings on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in early 2025, and they are excited to finally share it with you
