Let’s Cong On!. Eight incredible underground artists and the synth-punk-cowboy himself, Cong Josie, have remixed the entirety of his debut album Cong!. This is the “adults only”, “sealed edition” version where darker shadows lurk, but if you are brave, deep-deep beauty will reveal itself. Artists such as Simona Castricum, Various Asses, V and Vacuum have had their way with Cong! and left their talented fingerprints all over it. From stadium sized techno bangers, to sun-drenched romance bliss-outs and back to darkwave-punk dirges, it is remarkable how well Cong On! works as an LP in its own right. Somehow, in some way, this collection of artists share a subconscious connection or world outlook that presents itself sonically throughout.
