Ashley Naylor – Soundtracks Volume 2

The second instrumental LP from this Australian music mainstay, known for his work with Even, Paul Kelly and now also as a fulltime member of The Church. Soundtracks Vol. 2 is, well, very much like a collection of imaginary soundtracks, with song titles like “Spaceship”, “Les Paul Waltz” or the lovely acoustic lyricism of “South Fremantle”. A tremendous twang throughout which has me thinking of The Church or Television, these are some excellent mind’s-eye excursions. 150 pressed
