Combining pysch-rock tendencies with sci-fi inspired lyricism “Pretty Pictures” is a cinematic and whimsical journey through a bad dream – the production growing more chaotic as the lyrics wind on, ending in a tumultuous and lush explosion of instruments and operatic wailing. On the B-side, “Clouds” takes a more mellow approach with Beatles-esque guitar lines and harmonies while still satisfying the indie/psych root of the band.
