2LP repress of Massive Attack’s third studio album from 1998. Mezzanine marked a shift from Massive Attack’s signature jazzy, trip-hop sound to a more electronica based sound. There was also a significant referencing of punk and post-punk influences, chiefly Sandinista-era Clash, PiL, Gang Of Four etc.
Mezzanine was also the final Massive Attack album to feature founding member, Andrew Vowles (Mushroom).
