Kasinda – This Is Life

This Life- Kasinda’s debut EP, platforms themes of freedom, justice and cultural connection, showcasing our shared humanity and experiences across seas and continents.

The music was inspired through Kasinda’s three journeys to Ghana and Nigeria throughout 2024 and 2025 where she sought to explore her own Nigerian heritage and contemplated the themes which bind people despite their differences.

Recorded across Accra, Ghana and Melbourne (Naarm), the recording features many talented musicians across Afrobeat, reggae and jazz genres including members from Surprise Chef, Ben Mckone, (Jalen Ngona, Hollie Cook), Immy Owusu, Ansong Jnr (GH). This Life serves as a reminder that we as a collective create the world we live and are not merely observers.
