In the late nineties, the two founding Remotes members Ollie Browne and Kristian Brenchley were playing in two diametrically opposed bands, ‘slowcore’ band Art of Fighting and ‘noise rock’ band S:Bahn. Together they released the first record “The Remotes” as a duo, and now a huge 28 years later, along with new member Laura MacFarlane (Sleater Kinney, ninetynine), the stunning second record “Ready For It” is here. With a run of tour dates, publicity campaign, coloured vinyl, this is the Remotes realising that 28 years can be both an age and an instant!
